Construction of a press center and a training base for the Belgian team at the 2018 FIFA World Cup

Event highlights.
The Spark Behind It All.
As part of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, our agency iMARUSSIA! was accredited by FIFA and granted exclusive rights to deliver the full support project for the Belgian national football team, the “RED DEVILS”, in the Russian Federation.
We built a world-class press center from scratch in Dedovsk (Moscow Region): a TV studio for live broadcasts and program recordings, two radio broadcast zones, and full organizational, technical, logistical, and media support for the training base — becoming part of one of the largest sporting events in modern football history.
Nearly a year of preparation, 94 days of operation during the Championship, over 8 000 guests, and billions of viewers worldwide — a project rightfully added to our agency’s platinum portfolio.
Project scope:
The Ultimate Standard.
Work on the project began long before the tournament — 8 months ahead of kickoff, we were already developing technical plans, visual concepts, and logistics routes. The press center construction and training base setup were carried out on a tight schedule and in full compliance with the highest international standards.
From the layout of massive tent structures to each socket in the TV studio — everything was designed in accordance with FIFA’s specifications. Comfort, safety, and efficiency became the solid foundation for the RED DEVILS’ future success.
No Task Too Big.
No Detail Too Small.
One of the project’s key features was the creation of special TV and radio studios broadcasting live to the entire world. The TV studio, built from scratch, was equipped with cutting-edge technologies meeting all FIFA standards, allowing for live feeds to major European networks.
The RED DEVILS players could speak to the world, share emotions, predictions, and victories — and we at iMARUSSIA! provided everything they needed to do so.

In The Eye
of the Storm.
The press center we designed and built was more than just a workplace for journalists. It was the informational heart of the team: featuring TV areas, editing stations for photo and video materials, high-speed internet, interview rooms, and a cozy lounge zone.
Convenient, modern, branded, and tech-savvy — it allowed media from all over the world to work quickly and effectively, transmitting the event’s atmosphere to billions of screens globally.
A WOW-Level
Press Center.
Our work goes beyond the façade — it includes flawless backstage operations. We thought of everything — from team and equipment transfers to 24/7 catering, training gear, and daily tech support.
The press center operated 24/7, with fully autonomous and reliable infrastructure. No compromises — only the highest quality. And most importantly, everything was delivered under FIFA’s strict oversight and in full compliance with international standards.
True Event
Monsters.
The project concluded with a deep sense of achievement. We didn’t just deliver infrastructure — we became part of the team, received recognition from the Royal Belgian Football Association, and gained experience that will forever mark our agency’s legacy.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup was named the best in history — and we’re proud to have contributed to that honor. This isn’t just success. This is a case study that shows what our iMARUSSIA! team can achieve when faced with truly ambitious challenges.
